Nina Parks is a renowned artist, activist, and entrepreneur with a deep commitment to community and culture. Raised in San Francisco, on the unceded Ramatush Ohlone Territory, Nina's diverse heritage—rooted in Filipino and Ashkenazi Jewish traditions—has profoundly shaped her perspective and fueled her drive for meaningful impact.

Over the past 12 years, Nina has emerged as a pivotal figure in the Cannabis Equity Movement. As the inaugural chair of San Francisco's Cannabis Oversight Committee, Nina facilitates essential dialogues among lawmakers, regulators, activists, and entrepreneurs nationwide, fostering a more equitable economy.

In addition to her advocacy, Nina co-founded Supernova Women and the Equity Trade Network, which houses the first USPTO Certification mark for equity products. She also helped establish the Cannabis Regulators of Color Coalition. Nina's creative vision shines through Gift of Doja, a cannabis vibestyle brand focused on creating safe, joyful industry environments. Her achievements include executing the nation's first legal cannabis sales and consumption garden at Carnaval San Francisco.

Nina's involvement with the CORE Sacramento program will significantly enhance its mission to support cannabis business owners and industry players in the greater Sacramento area. Her extensive experience and strategic insight will provide invaluable guidance to program participants, empowering them to navigate industry complexities and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
