Grant Program 1: Community Reinvestment Fund
- Community Reinvestment Fund is $3,000,000
- All funding to be issued in Round 1 (by June 15, 2024)
- Funding will be split Equally amongst LCB-approved Social Equity Applicants (SEA) who are ALSO certified by the Community Reinvestment Fund as “By and For” Organizations

- Split Equally to Social Equity Applicants (SEA) - approx. $57,000
- Designation as “By and For” Applicant is not required
- Funding disbursement by October 15, 2024

- All grant recipients must be WA Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB)-approved Social Equity Applicant (SEA) licensees or Title Certificate Holders who are opening retail stores
- License must be issued after April 1, 2023, and before July 1, 2024
- Entity status with WA Secretary of State must be “Active”

Q. Why is the full funding not available during Round 1?
A. Three million of the total $8.1 million belongs to the fiscal year 2025 budget. As such, these monies will be allocated in FY 2025 which begins July 2024.
